julian dollarJulian Dollar, General Manager
Julian Dollar has been General Manager and a Director since 2006, having successfully managed Castleton Lyons Farm in USA and previously been Assistant Manager to Chris Richardson at Cheveley Park Stud.

gary coffeyGary Coffey, Racing & Nominations
Gary Coffey joined Newsells in 2001 initially as Stud Manager following positions with Darley Stud and Godolphin. He is a Director of Newsells Park Stud, and has been the Racing Manager for the Jacobs family since 2005.

david whitwoodDavid Whitwood, Chief Financial Officer
David has been CFO and a Director of Newsells Park Stud since 2006, having previously worked for Jockey Club Racecourses at their Head Office in London and, prior to that, for Juddmonte Farms in Newmarket.

"It's a hugely exciting time to be part of Newsells. The whole team works incredibly hard with one objective in mind - the future success of the operation."
 

gerry meehanGerry Meehan, Yearling Manager
Gerry Meehan joined Newsells Park Stud in 2004 following similar roles at Side Hill Stud, Cheveley Park Stud and Fair Winter Farm. The respect he commands in his field ensures our yearlings are expertly reared and prepared for the sales and their racing career ahead.

Isobel AnthonyIsobel Anthony, Stud Secretary
Isobel joined Newsells Park Stud in 2007, having previously been Pedigree Research Director at Taylor Made Farm & Sales Agency in the USA. She also brings with her years of practical experience, including foaling down mares, neonatal foal care, working with stallions, sales preparation and administration. Isobel also runs our hospitality box at Tattersalls.

David Porter-Mackrell, Stallion Man
The stallions at Newsells Park Stud are in first-class hands with Stallion Manager David Porter-Mackrell, who joined the Stud in 2009, having gained experience at Whitsbury Manor Stud and Banstead Manor Stud.

"It is a privilege to have responsibility for the stallion unit at Newsells, and be part of such a dynamic and ambitious team."

 

Vanessa Reed-HerbertVanessa Reed Herbert, Personnel Manager
Vanessa joined Newsells Park Stud in 2001 as Personal Assistant to
the late Klaus J Jacobs and to assist with personnel, having been employed previously in the Stallion Department at the British Bloodstock Agency in Newmarket. Amongst other duties. she has responsibility for personnel and health and safety.

Paul Moore, Estate Manager
Paul brings a 'hands-on', practical approach to his role as Estate Manager having joined Newsells from Fakenham Racecourse where he had been Head Groundsman for two years, having previously been the Assistant Groundsman for 10 years.

"Through teamwork and attention to detail, we strive to achieve the environment to produce the winners of the future."
 

Barn Leaders
The Barn Leaders are key members of our team. They are Rob Baker, Emily Brown, Rob Chuck, Paul Crick, Mark Grace, Barry Kennedy, Max McDonnell, Kim Skolfield and Elody Swann.
